Here is a nice article from IntoMobile that talks about the Gartner report on Mobile OS/Platform marketshare. BlackBerry is ahead of iPhone, and despite growth in both BlackBerry and iPhone adoption, Apple’s growth was more than double that of RIM’s last year!

Having said that, RIM’s overall marketshare is still higher than Apple’s. And there are relatively very few companies producing BlackBerry apps, when compared to iPhone apps. This why all ScreamingToaster products are being released first for BlackBerry, second for Android, and lastly for iPhone . We have first mover advantage in the BlackBerry and Android markets, while the iPhone market is inundated with competition.
