RIM is gaining markeshare this year. Apple had a stellar year in 2008 with the iPhone, moving over 10M units. However, RIM is not sitting still. Since the introduction of the Bold and other 4.6 devices last year, they’ve sold over 7.5M devices in the Dec 08/Jan 09/Feb 09 periods! Wow! The rate of Apple’s growth has slowed, and they have more conservative sales targets for this year, compared to 2008. Wow. That’s a lot of new BlackBerry devices out there. And since all ScreamingToaster software is aimed at the newer BlackBerry smartphones, this is great news .
