We are an American company. We are extremely cost competitive for high functioning multiplatform mobile initiatives. We are up to 50% less expensive @ project inception-time, and up to 70% less expensive @ project change-time.
We have helped many companies, large and small, with their multiplatform mobile initiatives.
We have rescued them from the painful experience of dealing with cheap outsourcing vendors both local and international. Cheap outsourcing (to the lowest bidder) might look good on paper, but not when you factor in the inevitable redo (and the risk & cost & political damage associated with that eventuality). We are a better choice than selecting cheap outsourcing (at home and abroad):
We are cost effective – 50% cost reduction @ inception-time & 70% cost reduction @ change-time, when compared to in-house development.
We have capabilities, experience, and proven track record that they don’t have around high functioning multiplatform development.
We don’t have a communications barrier. We also manage expectations and provide complete visibility into our process; we understand the demands and evaluation criteria of corporate America.
We create visualizations for you on everything we work on; we do this iteratively so that you can see what you are getting as we’re building it; there are no nasty surprises at the end.
You can gain political capital with your management team (as we are working on your project) long before it is even completed.

Hype driving iPhone/smartphone app development. Be careful not to buy into the hype and get some real ROI. Don’t waste your time and political capital on something that will not pan out and will end up doing more harm than good.

We are selective – We don’t address hours, we address complexity. We don’t look at a project as a set of “bodies” and “hours per body”; we look at a project a series of different expertise and disciplines that need to be meshed together to solve complexity quickly and reliably, and deliver engaging experiences. We do not consider projects with a budget under USD $20,000, and a start date of more than 3 months out. We are highly selective in the consulting clients we take on. We do not build fart or joke apps, or glorified RSS readers with different themes, or glorified web views that are considered “apps”. If you are serious about your mobile, multiplatform and cloud initiatives, feel free to contact us.

Location based, marketplace and advertising
We built an Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, web app (and associated cloud services) for a company that allows local communities to buy and sell goods based on proximity. The goal of the app is to allow local communities to create local based marketplaces to buy and sell goods based on location and preference. Users can use credit cards to make payments in this system, from web and mobile. This experience brings together many layers of data into 1, including:
Real-time location based collaboration between buyers and sellers across all mobile and web apps.
Delivery of location and preference based advertising directly into web and mobile apps.
Overlaying community generated content and interactions over lat/lon.
Performing credit card transactions in this marketplace, over web and mobile.
Location based, real-time weather and more
We built a BlackBerry and Android application for a real estate company with properties across the world. The goal of this app was to provide customers with weather forecast, Wikipedia, and school district information for their current location (which updates automatically as they move around). This experience brings together 4 layers of data into 1, including:
GIS data – geocoding and reverse geocoding were used to translate lat/lon into real street addresses.
Real-time weather and forecast data – used to provide current and future weather info.
Wikipedia data – used to provide Wikipedia results for a user’s current lat/lon.
School district data – used to find which school district is closest to a user’s current lat/lon.
Location based, real-time tide & snow report
We built an iPhone and Web application for a company that runs a chain of beach and mountain resorts in the US. The goal of this app was to provide members with tide forecasts, marine weather, and snow forecasts for their current location (which updates automatically as the user moves around). This experience brings together 3 layers of data into 1, including:
GIS data – geocoding and reverse geocoding were used to translate lat/lon & IP addresses into real street addresses.
Marine weather data and tide data – used to provide tide info. for specific beaches in the US.
Snow reports and mountain weather forecast – used to provide snow reports for specific mountains in the US.
Location based, real-time Health IT
We built a multiplatform application for a hospital to manage patient and billing information from their mobile devices and desktop computers. The goal of this app was to allow physicians to manage patient handoffs, episode of care billing, create QI checklists, and collaborate and communicate securely with all members of their group (regardless of where they are and what computer or mobile device each physician has). It syncs automatically with the cloud so all physicians have up to the minute info. and can access their data from any device, anytime. It works on all mobile platforms, and web browsers.

Our value
We don’t address hours, we address complexity.
We are selective
We are highly selective in the consulting projects we take on because our services are in high demand, and our offerings are cutting edge and unique. We do not build fart or joke apps, or glorified RSS readers with different themes, or glorified web views that are considered “apps”. We also don’t work on projects with a budget smaller than $20K.
