Our design story

We are committed to innovate. Sometimes this means putting new twists on old ideas to make them more useful. We can’t help but be inspired, innovate, and be true to ourselves, and create software from the heart; from us to you. We are inspired by Ferdinand Porsche who said “I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself”. Just like Dr. Porsche couldn’t find the sports car of his dreams, we couldn’t find the software of our dreams. So, like Dr. Porsche, we decided to build it ourselves. And just like Dr. Porsche, we engineer our software for excellence. And most importantly, for happiness.

What’s in a name

It is an homage to Pixar & John Lasseter, their history, and how it’s tied to the "The Brave Little Toaster". People tend to be afraid of change, even for the better. We embrace change, and acknowledge that it is the only constant in this life. We strive to create things that are better and different in our technology, and business practices – when done right the whole should always be greater than the sum of individual parts. While blazing our own trail, we also realize that we’re all connected (in our society, and in nature) and we never fail to leverage these natural alignments wherever we may find them, and work towards adding value to everyone. Wherever we go, we want to light up the darkness.
